As you know that some of them may have high fat but don’t take that and choose the lower ones and get rid of the visible fat from meat and poultry. You can also take proteins from the non-meat products like nuts, tofu, mycoprotein, textured vegetable protein (TVP) and kidney beans. Even if you don’t like them you have to take them because your body needs protein.
Bread, Other Cereals & Potatoes
Among these 5 portions you must need to take cereals, pasta, rice, noodles, oats and other cereals as well as bread and baked potatoes etc. Remember that you have to include one thing from this group in your daily diet because it’s healthy and worth to make it a habit.
Milk & Dairy Foods
It must be 2 or 3 servings daily which is highly recommended for your good health. Milk, cheese, yoghurt and fromage frais are very good but it doesn’t mean that butter, eggs and cream are included in this group. Healthy eating doesn’t mean a lot of fat and calories at one time. It means that you need to have 5 times meal in small and balanced portions. Like you can have frozen, canned, dried and pure juices as well as fresh. Moreover you can take beans including baked beans, pulses and lentils. One portion should be of 80g like one apple or two plums (medium).

Just include small amount of fat in your diet but here you must remember to take the unsaturated fats like olive, sunflower and corn oil. Avoid saturated fats which come from animal products, cakes, biscuits, brownies and pastries. Normally we are fond of these fats but these are not at all good for your healthy diet, you can have one thing in one day.
